Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026.
This page lists every cookie set by thinkelevated.com, what it's used for, how long it lasts, and how to turn it off. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Site. We do not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, third-party trackers, or social-media pixels. There is no cookie banner because, under the ePrivacy Directive and similar regimes, strictly-necessary cookies do not require consent.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. The browser sends it back on every subsequent visit. Cookies let sites remember things — like that you're signed in — across page loads.
Cookies we set
All cookies below are first-party (set by thinkelevated.com itself, not a third party) and HttpOnly + Secure + SameSite=Lax unless otherwise noted.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
te_anon | Anonymous visitor ID used to deduplicate first-party page views in our analytics. Contains a random UUID — no personal information. | Strictly necessary | 13 months from your last visit |
nuxt-session | Encrypted server session for our internal /admin/* area. Only set if you sign in there. The general public never receives this cookie. | Strictly necessary | Browser session (cleared when you close the browser) |
That's it. The full list of cookies set across the Site.
Cookies we do not set
- No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, or DoubleClick
- No Facebook Pixel, Meta Pixel, or Conversions API
- No LinkedIn Insight Tag
- No Hotjar, Mixpanel, Heap, Segment, FullStory, or similar product analytics
- No Intercom, Drift, Crisp, or live-chat trackers
- No A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, etc.)
- No advertising re-targeting cookies of any kind
If you ever inspect the cookie store on this site and see something outside the table above, please email privacy at thinkelevated dot com — that would be a bug we'd want to know about.
Third-party requests
The Site loads fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com (Google Fonts). Google Fonts does not set cookies, but each font request carries your IP to Google's edge. If you prefer to avoid this, install a browser extension like uBlock Origin and add the two domains to a block list — the Site will fall back to system fonts (Inter is replaced by your OS's default sans-serif).
How to disable cookies
Modern browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or block cookies per-site:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
If you block our two strictly-necessary cookies, the Site will still load and let you read content. The only consequence is that visit-deduplication in our internal analytics will count you as a new visitor on each page navigation.
Do Not Track
We honour the DNT header where it makes a difference. Since we don't run third-party trackers, the practical effect is small — but DNT: 1 will suppress the writing of the te_anon cookie for that session.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change our cookie use, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. We'll surface a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days for any material change.
